Job Title: Inbound and Outbound Telesales Associate
Job Summary:
The Inbound and Outbound Telesales Associate is responsible for generating sales through both inbound and outbound calls, providing excellent customer service, handling order dispatch, and assisting walk-in customers. This role requires strong communication skills, sales acumen, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Inbound Sales:
● Handle incoming calls from potential customers interested in purchasing refurbished smartphones.
● Provide product information, pricing details, and answer any inquiries regarding the products and services offered.
● Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Outbound Sales:
● Make outbound calls to prospective customers to generate leads and promote products.
● Conduct cold calling campaigns to reach out to potential customers and introduce them to the company's offerings.
● Use persuasive communication techniques to close sales and achieve sales targets.
● Maintain a database of leads, update customer information, and track sales activities using CRM software.
Customer Service:
● Provide exceptional customer service to both inbound callers and walk-in customers.
● Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and handle any complaints promptly and professionally.
● Build rapport with customers to foster long-term relationships and repeat business.
Order Dispatch:
● Assist in the fulfilment process by preparing orders for dispatch.
● Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of orders to customers.
● Maintain accurate records of orders, shipping details, and tracking information.
Walk-in Customer Support:
● Greet walk-in customers and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
● Provide product demonstrations and assist customers in making informed decisions.
● Process sales transactions, handle cash, and maintain an organised and tidy sales area.
Qualifications and Skills:
● Proven experience in telesales or customer service roles, preferably in a retail or telecommunications environment.
● Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
● Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
● Customer-focused mindset with the ability to empathise and resolve customer issues effectively.
● Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
● Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
● Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Education and Experience:
● High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
● Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related fields is advantageous.
